Job Statement
The Application Developer is a full-time position; we are not looking for a part-time position or contract work. The Application Developer is responsible for implementing web interfaces and reports for our warehouse management system and various other systems as designated by the IT Manager. The Application Developer is required to do limited design work and to work with the end users on a regular basis to understand their needs. The Application Developer will provide help desk functionality and assist the users with any issues relating to the applications at Wawona Frozen Foods. They will be expected to represent the IT department with courteous and professional service.

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Implementation of web interfaces
2. Implementation of reports
3. Maintenance of web interfaces
4. Maintenance of reports
5. Gathering of requirements from users
6. Plan, Implement and Maintain changes to the business system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
7. Maintain the NAV data warehouse

Special Notes
Specific training will be provided on Microsoft Dynamics NAV as necessary. The Application Developer will also be cross trained as time permits in other tasks common to the IT department. These tasks will be assigned by the IT Manager and may include the following: hardware support, software support, network infrastructure and documentation of hardware and software as well as other IT support tasks.

Requirements
Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. Must have experience using all versions of .NET as it relates to web design and also be familiar with various AJAX technologies. At least 3 years experience using all versions of Microsoft Visual Studio is required. Must be able to read and understand existing code. Experience with ASP, HTML and JavaScript is a must. 1 – 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is required. Experience with some form of data warehouse is required. Knowledge of T-SQL is a plus, but training will be provided in this area where necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus, but not required.
