Table Mountain Rancheria has an immediate opening for a Compliance Inspector within the Gaming Commission. Job Summary: Observes, documents and reports suspicions and violations involving the gaming operation and facility; to include patrons and employees to ensure compliance with established minimum internal controls, policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The person fulfilling this position must be capable of performing the following, but not limited to:
• Knowledge of machine conversions, installation, movement and upgrades.
• Assists in completing appropriate paperwork when shipments arrive.
• Assists in kobetroning EPROMS in comparison to Gaming Laboratory International standards and with the logging of all Kobetron reading and results.
• Observes, documents and reports any violations of all minimum internal controls, Tribal Gaming Ordinance or Tribal Gaming Commission regulations.
• Observes, documents and reports any violations of the Tribal-State Gaming Compact and the applicable rules and regulations established by the National Indian Gaming Commission.
• Observes, documents and reports any suspected cheating or criminal activity occurring at the gaming operation and facility.
• Observes, documents and reports any violations or suspected violations of applicable tribal, federal, state, ordinance, regulations and casino policies and procedures.
• Work with TMC slot department and/or Vendor mechanics by observing Logic Area and EPROM access and control.
• Communicate and signal appropriate supervisory personnel using the equipment, tools and signals of the Compliance Division.
• Learn, comprehend and understand the rules, functions and methods of playing the various casino games and gambling devices offered at the gaming operation.
• Observe, test, monitor and detect any deviations or irregularities in the destruction, removal or installation of any Class II or Class III games (i.e., gaming devices, equipment, tools, software and hardware).
• Learn, comprehend and understand all casino departmental policies and procedures
• Write concise, accurate and understandable reports.
• Observe, monitor and detect any deviations or irregularities in the destruction, removal or installation of any new gaming devices, equipment, tools, software and hardware.
• Verifies appropriate jackpot payouts in accordance with established Gaming Commission rules, regulations and procedures, as well applicable Tribal, Federal and State laws and procedures.
• Responds to unresolved patron disputes in accordance with the instructions, rules, regulations and guidelines of the Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Performs such other duties as requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D) required. One or more years of regulatory compliance or equivalent relevant educational, trade school, gaming or work experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of a compliance inspector may be considered.Native American preference applies.
