Table Mountain Rancheria in Friant, California has an immediate opening for full-time Construction Manager to work in the Public Works Department of Table Mountain Rancheria. The person fulfilling this position must be capable of performing the following, but not limited to:

• Evaluates specifications to plan procedures, start and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction
• Orders procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules
• Directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
• Manages supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods
• Inspects projects to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules
• Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used, costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports
• Acts as a public spokesperson interfacing with concerned public and regulatory officials
• Conducts construction activities with federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university unless otherwise waived by Tribal Council as based on determined experience and accomplishments. Four (4) years related experience as well as other relevant educational or work experience. Must have a Valid California Contractor’s License. Candidate must also possess a California Class C Driver’s license and have a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Rancheria’s insurer. Must have knowledge of building codes and inspections.
