Cosmetology Instructor needed to work in a cooperative setting with instructors, students, and support personnel; who share the responsibility of providing an exceptional education experience that turns out successful well qualified cosmetologists.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Motivate students to learn and enjoy the material being studied
Teach course as prescribed by the approved institutional curriculum
Teach theory class and demonstrations when needed
Supervise and instruct students on the clinic floor
Administer tests and maintain a student record of student grades
Enforce school policies and procedures
Maintain proper discipline and order in the classroom
Assist with problem solving for student issues

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must be qualified and licensed or eligible to license through reciprocity in the State of CA.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely In both verbal and written modes
Skill in recognizing student potential and learning style
Skill in selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation
Skill in time management
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files
Ability to provide a professional level of teaching and services
