Position Purpose:
Prepare and modify programs and procedures to solve business challenges. Test and document programs and applications developed and modified in accordance to change management policy. Provide systems analysis and design input in the assessment and design of applications and system solutions. Play an active role in all phases of the software development lifecycle, designing and implementing programs and applications that deliver business value to internal and external customers. Serve as a mentor to junior developers.

Knowledge/Experience:
Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4-6 years of programmer and/or application development experience. Experience SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, JAVA, Oracle Pro*C, or C.

Position Responsibilities:
• Use programming languages and development tools to develop new or modify existing programs and applications to solve business challenges.
• Analyze available information applying experience and systems knowledge to diagnose problems and identify solutions to meet user requirements.
• Play an active role in the design of programs and applications to solve identified business challenges
• Use programming languages and development tools to query and manipulate data in the support of production systems and to resolve ad-hoc user requests.
• Provide guidance and support to junior level developers.
• Test and document program modifications, and assist in the creation of user and system documentation.

Licenses/Certifications: ITIL Certificate or obtain within 18 months of hire
