A major public multinational corporation is seeking digital writers. A team of technical writers / Digital Bloggers that will utilize a new Social Identifier Tool that mines Social Media sites such as Facebook and Twitter to identify current trends and then Blog about the trends on the corporation’s Site to create interest / consumer engagement.

The Goal is to make the “Trending Topics Team” the place where people turn to for the quickest update on current events across multiple different areas/subject (Entertainment / Sports / Finance / Business / etc).

Responsibilities / what the writer is expected to accomplish:

AM Writer
• Strongest writer position, responsible for key morning posts (all topics)
• Responsible for Facebook and Twitter posts in AM
• Updates Discovery page
• Contributes ideas for marquee video topics
• Primary writer of franchise articles
Coordinator / Coverage Writer
• Weekday coverage of news, monitoring of posts by other teams
• Update Discovery page
• Coordinate Facebook-Twitter posts weekdays
Weekend Writers
• Responsible for all weekend posts
• Responsible for weekend Facebook and Twitter posts
• Secondary writer of franchise articles
