Position Summary:
– Hardware, software troubleshooting and maintenance on consumer and micro-business computer systems
– Training and documentation at the user level
– Documentation of solutions
– Contributing solutions to the computer repair community
– Cleaning and proper presentation of service vehicles and work environment
– Duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions:

- An overwhelming commitment to client satisfaction coupled with the ability to work well with others.
– Critical thinking with the ability to come up with multiple solutions to a given problem and to stay with the client until the problem is solved.
– Ability to properly notate client concerns and solutions in a computer system.
– Must work patiently and accurately under high stress and demands from clients with minimal supervision.
– Must continuously upgrade technical certifications and maintain a clean DMV record (fewer than 2 reportable moving violations).
– Copious attention to detail.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent, A.S. preferred; perishable CompTIA A+ and Network + (or substitute, or acquire within 90 days of employment)
- Three years demonstrable experience supporting I.T. consumers and small businesses
– Clean DMV record (less than two reportable moving violations), Virus removal, historical perspective on hardware, PC building, basic network topologies and security.

Preferred Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of small to medium sized business networks
– Demonstrable experience in high-expectations client service environment a plus

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift 50 lbs., and move quickly from standing to seated positions repeatedly throughout the day.
