HR Outsourcing Enrollment Specialist (California (statewide))

  • Essential Functions:
    As HR Outsourcing Enrollment Specialist you will manage the enrollment of new clients participating in our outsourced Human Resource service offering. You will also host enrollment meetings, client presentations and oversee the resolution of time-sensitive employer issues.

    We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education and background and a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude to:

    •Meet with an employer to set-up the enrollment meeting schedule, explain billing and payroll deductions
    •Performs on-site analysis of requirements for payroll, benefits, and 401(k), using a consultative approach to ensure appropriate human resource policies, procedures, and compliance
    •Provides support to client contacts regarding benefits, payroll, and human resources issues during the implementation process. Conduct employee group meetings explaining benefits to be offered
    •Overcomes unforeseen obstacles/barriers by utilizing clear communication delivered in a professional manner in order to attain cooperation and buy-in from both clients and internal associates.
    •Represents company at community/employer/company sponsored events to generate leads and promote company product/service
    •Collects, reviews, and inputs data into the HRIS system (UltiPro). Verifies new hire paperwork to ensure compliance and routes to appropriate parties for tracking and filing. Also ensures compliance with and adherence to Company guidelines by maintaining employee benefit files.
    •Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered. Enters transactional data such as new hire set-up, terminations, promotions, transfers, employee/supervisor reporting relationship changes, benefits enrollment, and other similar transactions. Enters position titles and corresponding job codes as appropriate.
    •Responsible for auditing all of the client paperwork and systems (e.g. masterfile, benefit enrollment, payroll data) during the conversion period to ensure a substantially error-free delivery of service and input.
    •Educate client staff to ensure correct and timely completion of all enrollment materials

    Qualifications

    •Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Systems, Human Resources, or equivalent in education and experience required.
    •Ability to calculate figures and dollar values such as percentages and salaries. Ability to apply mathematical concepts and formulas to solve problems.
    •Ability to learn new software easily. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. HRIS (UltiPro) and reporting (COGNOS) software experience preferred but not required.
    •Strong account management and project management skills. Excellent organization skills a must.
    •Has knowledge of Payroll functions, federal / state wage laws, and general payroll policies, procedures, and regulations.
    •Previous experience in HR Outsourcing (Payroll/Benefits) Sales or Account Management preferred
    •Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance documents and compensation materials.
    •Has experience in public speaking before medium to large audiences. This includes but is not limited to; explaining / elaborating new programs, systems change, and new company policy.
    •Ability to work at a faster-than-average pace; ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail

    •Travel Requirements: Local Client Visits: 60%, Regional Client Travel (overnight): 15%
    Must have and maintain, in good-standing, a California State Driver’s license
