Van-G Logistics offers its customers transloading including truck to rail and rail to truck service, dry and cold storage, and short haul trucking. Van-G Logistics is seeking a Logistics Manager to be responsible for effectively routing and scheduling customer deliveries and pick-ups, managing driver routes and workloads within designated time frames. The Logistics Manager directly manages teams of drivers and dispatchers and is responsible for coordinating with other unit managers to provide quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities:
* Lead team of drivers, including performance management, workload management, and training.
* Verify available hours of service and confirm accuracy of time keeping.
* Manage schedule changes and adjust assignments/routes accordingly.
* Serve as a key point of contact for drivers, warehouse team, and operations leadership on delivery-related issues.
* Maintains strong client relationships.
* Review and analyze previous deliveries to ensure efficiency levels were met/exceeded.
* Provides delivery information and analysis to assist in sales forecasting and budget preparation.
* Coordinates customer needs with operational unit managers to ensure customer satisfaction.

* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to effectively manage multi-faceted scheduling function.
* Transportation, logistics, or manufacturing experience necessary.
