Responsibilities
• Project management, budgeting, contracting, scheduling, quality assurance, construction management, verbal/written communication, and problem resolution
• Field work, including drilling oversight, geologic logging, well construction, soil and groundwater sampling, and general site inspections
• Data management and evaluation and report preparation
• Periodic travel locally and out of area, as necessary

Accountabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science/engineering, soil science, or civil engineering; Master’s degree preferred
• For engineering candidates, Professional Engineering registration is preferred
• For geologist candidates, Professional Geologist registration is preferred
• Four to ten years of related experience
• Working knowledge of the Unified Soil Classification System
• Knowledge of general geologic concepts including stratigraphy and hydrochemistry
• Soil and groundwater investigation and sample skills
• Environmental permitting/regulatory compliance experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills and experience in project management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical writing experience
• Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, and Access
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS preferred
• OSHA Hazwoper training is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record
