RT Enterprise is now accepting applications for a full-time Dispatcher. Dispatchers are responsible for maintaining effective and efficient communications between patrol officers in the field, law enforcement agencies and the public by dispatching general and emergency information quickly, clearly and adequately. Must have a professional and mature demeanor and be able to multi-task answering a multi-line phone system, multiple two-way radios and be required to work independently, react quickly and demonstrate good judgment in stressful situations. Candidate must be flexible, available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

All applicants are required to have the following qualifications.

Be able to operate various communication equipment including two way radio systems, emergency and non-emergency phones, CCTV monitoring and alarm monitoring equipment.
Prior Radio Communications or dispatching experience preferred, but not required.
Have Excellent Public Relation Skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn and use phonetic alphabet, radio codes and California penal codes
Ability to respond calmly to a crises situation, handle and process confidential materials and the ability to multi-task.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
Have computer knowledge including Microsoft Word/Excel and basic internet skills.
Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a drug screening test.
