We are searching for Senior Analytics Engineers to join their growing team Business Intelligence team in San Francisco. The company was funded by Lightspeed Ventures and Trinity VC and is already wildly profitable. their most recent game ‘Battle Pirates’ is the first real-time strategy game on the Facebook platform, and their games have millions of daily players, and continue to grow. They are building out an incredible behavioral analytics platform, and you can be a major contributor to its features and design.

Requirements:
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing persistent data stores for high-traffic transactional systems.
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL, (or MongoDB) including high-availability design/operation, performance tuning, capacity planning, automated backup and recovery.
- Strong DB schema design, query construction and optimization knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of object / relational mapping systems
- Experience horizontally scaling datastores
- Ability to work with and support a team of game development professionals, and design engineers.
- Conceptual knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent experience.

Preferred:
- Previous experience with online games or social networks
- Experience with task automation: Shell/Perl scripting, stored procedures, triggers.
- Experience with database capacity scaling techniques such as caching and data partitioning highly desired.
- Experience in monitoring, metrics collection, and reporting using open source tools.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to liaise with vendors and other business / technical teams, able to function with minimum supervision.
- Experience working in/with Agile development teams.
