Job Statement
The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for implementing reports and reporting infrastructure as designed by the IT Manager and Senior Design Engineer. This requires an understanding of the database structures of the business system and other systems used at Wawona Frozen Foods. The Senior Programmer Analyst will be required to work with the IT Manager and Senior Design Engineer to develop reporting solutions to meet the requirements of the users. The main areas of focus will be reporting within Microsoft Dynamics NAV and also within SQL Server Reporting Services.

Once familiar with the systems and processes at Wawona Frozen Foods, the Senior Programmer Analyst will normally work with the end users to gather requirements. They will be expected to represent the IT department with courteous and professional service.

Reporting
Reports to the IT Manager

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Implementation of report infrastructure (Views, Stored Procedures, etc.)
2. Implementation of reports (SSRS, Excel, NAV Reports)
3. Maintenance of report infrastructure
4. Maintenance of reports
5. Gathering of reporting requirements from users and following up to make sure requirements are met
6. General IT support as needed

Special Notes
The Senior Programmer Analyst will be cross trained as time permits in other tasks common to the IT department. These tasks will be assigned by the IT Manager and may include the following; hardware support, software support, network infrastructure and documentation of hardware and software as well as others.

Requirements
At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 are required. Knowledge of relational database design and structure is required. At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server is preferred as well as experience with SQL Server Reporting Services. Experience with the reporting environment within Microsoft Dynamics NAV is desired. You must have the desire to work both with the report implementation technology as well as with the users to provide a complete end to end solution.
