Client is searching for talented Server Engineers to join their growing team in San Francisco. The company was funded by Lightspeed Ventures and Trinity VC and is already wildly profitable. Their most recent game ‘Battle Pirates’ is the first real-time strategy game on the Facebook platform, and they have millions of daily players, and continue to grow. Do you like to work on systems used by hoards of people, and optimize it for the ultimate performance experience? This is the chance to be a major contributor, and/or lead new AS3 and C++ development on new games.

Senior Server Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to produce and manage high quality code
- Demonstrated ability to augment complex code bases
- Take ownership of feature development for both client and server side specifications from concept through deployment
- Research and build new tools and novel techniques to improve scalability.

Requirements:
- Strong object-oriented programming skills for the Linux operating system
- Experience with C++, Java, PHP or mastery of similar languages
- Strong low-level knowledge of HTTP and Web Services
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Calm, yet deadly when it comes to attacking problems
- CS degree(s) preferred, but confident coders/hackers please don’t be shy.
