Job Description: We are seeking an engineer to become part of the world class Global PDK organization. The mission of this position is critical for continuing innovation in design enablement for yield enhancement in the advanced technology nodes of 28nm and below. The candidate for this position will be responsible to create and maintain multiple fill synthesis programs while working closely with the integration team in our state-of-the-art fabs in Dresden, Germany and Malta, NY. The candidate is also responsible for generating and testing DRC codes to ensure pattern uniformity in a design. A major challenge is to provide timely design enablement support by promoting standards across all technologies.
 Generation and maintenance of fill synthesis programs
 Management of qualification of EDA vendor fill synthesis programs
 Creation of high-quality DRC decks in multiple languages
 Automation of regression test generation
 Maintenance and enhancement of object-oriented development framework
Education/Qualifications:
 Ph.D, MS, or BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
 7+ years experience in IC design verification and/or physical synthesis
 3+ years experience in Mentor Calibre, Synopsys ICV and/or other verification languages
 2+ years experience in developing a fill synthesis algorithm
 2+ years experience in running a fill synthesis tool
 2+ years experience in tcl programming
 2+ years experience in object-oriented programming such as C++, JAVA, or Python
 1+ years experience in XML and XSLT
 3+ years experience in field engineering
 Familiar with advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes and yield control
 Aptitude to identify the root cause of problems and lead multiple organizations for resolution
 Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work priority
 Good relationship building skills and spoken/presentation skills in the English language
